Debra Simpkins, Licensed Medical Aesthetician
Debra Simpkins became an aesthetician in 2003 after a 20+ year career in dentistry and moved to Central Oregon from the east coast. She is passionate about healthy skin, helping her clients age gracefully and making the world beautiful one treatment at a time. Debra absolutely loves what she does! She spends considerable time with each client to determine their unique needs and how they can achieve them.
Debra is licensed by the state of Oregon. She is certified by YonKa Paris, Circadia, Cirapil and Shavasana. Debra is also certified to perform Jessner and other chemical peels, Microdermabrasion, Micro-current and Eye Lash Extensions. Bend Skin Company is a member of the Associated Skin Care Professionals (ASCP) and Cascade Business Alliance BNI.
Debra lives in Bend with her husband, Eric and son, Devan. She is owned by a cat (Elliott), a Bernese Mountain Dog (Mozart) and a bearded dragon (Puff).
Debra is the author of two books: “The Luna Tuna” and “A Sensitive Dog’s Guide to Love, Life and Counter Cruising.”
A Medical Aesthetician has received extensive training above the usual 500-700+ training hours. They recommend correct skin care routines, protocols and products. They provide a variety of services to help improve and maintain the appearance and health of their client’s skin.
Debra was born and raised in Pittsburgh, PA and is a true and lifelong Pittsburgh Pirates and Pittsburgh Penguins fan. Additionally she is a Diehard and rabid Pittsburgh Steelers Fan, always keeping her fingers crossed that the Steelers will someday need a team Aesthetician!
