FEMALE EMPLOYEES: If you have ever worked in a small office, you know the feeling of having to stand in line to buy a $25 shampoo or a $50 eye shadow, and then having to wait in line for hours to get your items delivered.
And while it is true that you might be paying extra to receive those products at your workplace, the reality is that you are not really paying extra, because those items are not actually made with the same ingredients as the shampoo or eye shadow you purchased in your store.
What you are actually paying for is a different brand of cosmetics.
The reality is, you are paying more than the shampoo and eye shadow in the store and that is because these products are actually made by companies that are not licensed to produce cosmetics.
That is why it is so important to have the proper product and to always be aware of the differences in the ingredients in each of the products you purchase.
Here are some easy tips for avoiding a facial-care disaster.
1.
Keep it clean and simple.
Even though you are buying products made with a different ingredient, you should still keep things clean and tidy.
You should always keep a container of shampoo or lip balm in your office, a small container of eye shadow at home, and at least a few jars of shampoo and lip balms at home.
And, if you are going to the salon or beauty supply store to purchase makeup, make sure that the products are not in the same plastic bag as the other products.
Even if you have purchased the same brand of lipstick or mascara, make a note of the brand and make sure the lipstick is in the correct packaging.
2.
Use the proper container.
There are a number of different types of containers, but they all contain some type of liquid, usually either water or oil, and can be used for any product that you would like to purchase.
And if you do not know which container you are using, use the one labeled “freshly pressed” and not “pasteurized” because these are both safe for use.
3.
Check the expiration date.
Always check the expiration dates on the products and if they have expired, you will need to pay more for those products.
So, make it a point to check the products’ expiration dates.
Also, make certain to always ask the store manager if they are still available for purchase.
4.
Know the difference between cosmetics and body care products.
It is also important to know that you do NOT need to buy products made by the same companies that make cosmetics.
Body care products are made by more than just cosmetics companies and often are sold by a variety of manufacturers that include makeup, body scrubs, haircuts, nail polish, and more.
And these brands have a variety and variety of ingredients, making them different and not the same as the cosmetics you are purchasing.
This can be very confusing, so make sure to check out the ingredients listed on each of these products before you purchase them.
And as always, always ask questions of the store assistant before purchasing and always shop with care.
5.
Avoid unnecessary products.
There is no such thing as an overabundance of body care items.
Make sure to buy the right products for the right reasons and always check out what’s available.
6.
Make your own appointments.
If you are like me, you might have to make appointments to buy makeup and body scrabs because you don’t have the time or space.
So make sure you have time and space to make your appointments and also to schedule the time to pick up products.
The last thing you want is to miss a scheduled appointment or to miss your appointment due to an illness or injury.
If the time is flexible and you have the option to pick your makeup up later, make your own appointment.
7.
Make a list of the items you need.
It will help you get a list and organize your purchases.
Make it a priority to have a list on your phone, so you can look at it when you need to make an appointment.
8.
Keep a diary.
You might want to keep a list in your phone to remind you of what products you need and how much you will be spending.
9.
Avoid overpriced items.
Some companies will not sell items that they make at a cost that is higher than what you are used to.
If there are no other options for you to purchase that you know is at a lower price, be smart and do your research on what is available.
10.
Check on your schedule.
Sometimes it might be a good idea to schedule an appointment to have your makeup and makeup products delivered to your home or to your office so that you can get them to you quickly.
If that doesn’t work, ask for a sample to compare it with, or contact your local store manager.
11.
Make plans to meet at a certain time.
It may be difficult to do, but make sure it is a priority so that
